The Lehman College Jazz Band performed along with several bands at the first jazz festival at the college. Several high school jazz bands were also on the program. These included the Edgemont High School Jazz Band, the Bronx High School of Science Jazz Band, and the Celia Cruz High School of Music Jazz Band.

The Lehman Jazz Combos Concert - April 18th, 2010. Celebrating 60 years since the Birth of the Cool recordings.

The Lehman College Jazz Nonet included vibraphonist Alan Molnar, bassist Danny Loayza and drummer Victor Rendon. The nonet also included Ed Seldin on trumpet, Jordan Pettay on alto saxophone and Dean Olsher on baritone saxophone.

Bob Stewart on tuba, Barbara Reineki on french horn and Mark Williams performed as part of the nonet that recreated some of the music in the Birth of the Cool recordings
